Delete your account

Last updated 6 October 2026

How to delete your Platform account and the data that goes with it, from the app, on the web, or by email if you cannot sign in. Platform is run by Ecodia Pty Ltd (ABN 89 693 123 278).

1. Delete it yourself

Sign in to Platform, in the app on your phone or at platform.ecodia.au. Open You, go to the foot of the page and choose Delete your account. Type DELETE to confirm and press Permanently delete. The account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

If you pay for Platform through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not stop the store charging you. Cancel the subscription in your phone’s subscription settings first: on an iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play, your profile, Payments and subscriptions. A subscription you pay to Ecodia by card is cancelled for you before the account is deleted.

2. If you cannot sign in

Email code@ecodia.au from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. If you write from a different address, tell us the one on the account and we will confirm the request with that address before acting on it. We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and email you when it is done.

3. What is deleted

Your sign-in; every site you own and everything published from it; the images and files uploaded to those sites; your AI’s memory and the documents you gave it; your saved people and errands; the keys and passwords you saved; your connections; your chats in our database; and your subscription record.

A site you own goes with your account even if other people help you edit it. If someone else relies on one of your sites, email us before you delete and we will move it to them.

4. What is kept, and for how long

Backups of our database are kept for up to 14 days, then deleted, so a deleted account has left our backups within 14 days.

The engine that runs your AI keeps copies of recent conversations on Google Cloud in Sydney, and deleting your account does not yet remove them. If you want those copies removed, say so in your email to code@ecodia.au and we will remove them.

Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as Australian tax law requires us to keep them, which is five years.

5. Delete some of your data and keep your account

You can delete most things where you see them, without closing your account:

a site, from its menu on your Sites page, which deletes the site and everything attached to it; a single image or file, from a site’s library; something your AI remembers, with Forget on You, Memory; and a connection to another service, with Disconnect on Connections.

For anything else, such as a particular chat or document, email code@ecodia.au, say what you want deleted, and we will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

6. More about your data

Our Privacy Policy explains what Platform collects and who receives it, and Data handling says where each kind of data is stored.
